The bridge is easily reachable from the main E45 road. From the Massa Martana turnoff it is perhaps five minutes drive, the last section a dirt road. There are no facilities here and usually no people. The bridge is very impressive as a work of engineering and the peaceful location is a great place to take a break.

Well off the track , but accessible and well signposted from the road, one needs to descend to view this Roman bridge built on the ancient Via Flaminia. The 8m arch of large hewn stones is still intact and has integrity without mortar. If you look closely, the numbers (Roman numerals of course) are still visible to assist them in putting the arch together

Beautiful engineering. Level of quality and the fact that it is still standing make me respect the amazing level of Roman engineering even more. And this is 'just' a bridge in the countryside...

Roman bridge 2200 years old. In the middle of the countryside, no facilities for anything. But superb in itself.

Ottimamente conservato.
