Lack technical knowledge. I took my car toyota yaris 2008 as the check engine light was on and after a scan the tech guy said that they needed to replace the O2 sensor. They touch almost 5 hours to replace the sensor (a think that could have been done in a hour or two even if the place was crowded). Subsiquent to the replacement my problem persists. Later after some knowledge seeking on my own, I was educated that the issue was not with the sensor but with the catalytic converter and this was something somewhat common with this type of vehicle. I should say they have the machinerys and all but lack the work knowledge.
