Hidden in the Molisian countryside (included the traditional Italian bumpy roads for the last 2 miles) you can find the family-run agriturismo Fontefredda, a true gem. Biggest trump of this agriturismo is the restaurant that serves an excellent breakfast (with every morning some other home made pastry) included in the prize and a three course dinner including wine (own production)/water and coffee at a very reasonable prize. It’s a fixed menu with only fresh products that changes daily and is set up in the morning taking into account the desires of the guests. Great rooms, very clean and daily maintained. Nice pool with view on the countryside. Children can enjoy the playground and the presence of Tasha (cat), Bingo (really nice dog) and Pietro (pony). If you don’t speak Italian you will be helped by Federica; if you speak in addition a bit of Italian you surely get some extra treats (glass of wine or ice coffee and a chat with Claudio, fresh fruits from Claudia, culinary specialties from cook Erminia): all of them understand the importance of the typical italian familiar hospitality ! We’ve already visited lots of agriturismo’s all over Italy (Tuscany, Umbria, Marche, Abruzzi, Puglia) and normally never visit the same place for a second time but we think we will make an exception this time for agriturismo Fontefredda. Warmly recommended ! Surroundings: at Pettaciato (25 min drive) there is a nice free beach and a (paid) lido with friendly staff and lots of facilities (swimming pool, restaurant, showers, ...). The Tremity Islands (boat via Termoli) also very interesting to visit.

Very nice place and very friendly staff. Our 11 months old daughter had a great time watching the animals and crawling around. The roads in this area can be a bit exciting.

Siamo stati in quest' agriturismo in un freddo we di dicembre... ma a parte il tempo è andato tutto alla perfezione! Pulizia accurata, personale disponibilissimo, cibo ottimo ed un giusto rapporto qualità-prezzo. Un grazie a Federica che svolge il suo lavoro con grande impegno e tanta passione ed un applauso al tiramisù fatto in casa dalla titolare!
Posto meraviglioso immerso nella natura. Cucina ottima locale,con prodotti caseari e salumi prodotti in loco. La zona piscina è confortevole e davvero curata come del resto tutta la struttura. Federica è gentilissima e la titolare un'ottima cuoca!! Ne vale lampena anche solo per un pranzo!!
Posto bellissimo dove potersi rilassarsi.. Cordialità e convivialità da parte di tutto lo staff.. La signora Claudia molto attenta ad esaudire qualsiasi richiesta.. Il cibo il top con i loro prodotti genuini e di propria produzione... Tutto molto bello. Da tornare..
Siamo stati benissimo. I proprietari e tutto lo staff ti fanno sentire a casa. Ottimo il cibo, bella la struttura ed il paesaggio ti rilassa. Consigliato per chi ha bambini perché ci sono tanti animali da fattoria. Bello
