Purna Kam Singh

The school was established by Prof. (Late) Satyadeo Sinha in the esteemed memories of his parents and named after them, in 1982. Professor Sinha was Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha-1980-85) and staunch supporter of education and emancipation of women. Being an academician of highest order, he stood for women empowerment and found education in them as the important source to uplift their standards in the otherwise male dominated society of erstwhile Bihar. It was with this thought that he founded this All-girls school in his native village and invited the then PM of India- Smt. Indira Gandhi for an annual function.
