Great experience and I'm glad I did it! After being welcomed into her home, Suganya led a conversation to determine my skill/knowledge level about food, and Indian cuisine, in particular. Suganya's knowledge of food extends well beyond the India sub-continent, giving her the ability to explain Indian cooking in terms I could easily understand. The time she spent describing each and every individual ingredient and spice as we prepared the meal taught me much more than I had expected to learn. The end result was that I could taste and identify those ingredients in the rest of the meals I enjoyed in India, making each food experience that much better. The class was worth every minute. Thank you!
