I like Dr Ortega. I have been a patient for a few years now. They don't answer the phones here and they don't return you calls. Why can't they answer the phone? I don't believe they are so overwhelmed they can't staff the appointment line. I don't believe it. I think they chose to manage the process with voicemail. At least hire an answering service. In this day and age to not provide a way for us to be able to discuss what may be potentially serious health issues is unacceptable. I am going to find a new doctor who is more accessible.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. A friend recommended a certain doctor at this location and against my better judgment I went here. After seeing the reviews I should have chosen to go somewhere else. No one ever and I mean they never ever answer their phone!! I leave a message for the doctor's assistant, and they don't return the call. It could take a week or more. I am currently looking for a new primary care doctor because I can't deal with a facility that will not have the common decency to return a patient's phone call when they need help.

I am editing my review just two weeks after this initial post from 1 star to 4 stars! I was a bit desperate and decided to try one more time. I left a message with out much hope of getting a return call! Well, to my surprise, I received a call back the next day and was able to get a telamed/telahealth visit not too soon after. The NP (Abby) that did the call, was great. She took her time with me, answered every question and had me referred to 6 specialists with referrals faxed the next day! I did express my frustration and was told that with COVID they had difficulty finding and keeping someone to answer the phones and return messages. I’m quite sure that they didn’t get any of mine! Anyway, if you can, please give them another chance! Original Review: They don't even deserve this one star! I too have been trying to get an appointment for over 5 months. I have left countless messages when the voicemail didn't cut me off and have never received a call back. I decided to try again and there is a new message stating that they are \telehealth\ only. I still have not received a call back. Thank goodness my condition is not critical. Beyond poor customer service!!!

Worst place ever! My 90 year old mother needs refills on her RX I’ve been calling for 2 weeks and no one has returned my call. CVS said they denied the refill. I’m going to make a complaint with the BBB. I finally went their and the place is closedown. How can they treat their patients like dirt. Shame on ALL of you.

I’ve been calling this office for over 2 weeks, no one answers or returns your call. Their website and google account do not say anything about them being temporary closed. How does a medical office Not answer their phones?
