The Lotus Temple, also known as the Baha'i' Mandir, is dedicated for the followers of the Baha'i religion, but anyone can set a foot here regardless of one's religious faiths. The beautiful and silent atmosphere inside the temple perfectly complements the brilliant architecture that resembles a lotus. It is a wonderful tourist attraction in the eastern part of the city. One needs to walk a bit in order to enter the temple. Shoes and sound are not allowed inside the temple.

The House of Worship Information center. The Bahá'í House of Worship was opened to the public in December 1986. Since then thousands visit the House of Worship every day. While the visitors enjoy the peace and the serene environment that lends itself well to meditation, many inquire as to the source that has inspired such a place of worship, where there are no images, where no sermons are given, no rituals performed, and scriptures of all major religions read or recited. Over the years, the need for a place where such inquiries could be addressed became more pronounced and the idea of the Information Centre was conceived.

The Lotus Temple, located in Delhi, India, is a Bahá'í House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. Notable for its flowerlike shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. Like all Bahá'í Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification.

The worst management to handle the queue.. Queue is extremely long and slow one has to be in queue for 3-4 hr... And after this long wait time.... This doesn't seem any attractive

I you like meditation than this is the best place.. Nearest metro station is kaalka ji metro station from there you can walk it's 2 km from there. One will be amazed to see the architecture of the temple.. Museum is also present where one can learn about baha history. Plenty of pictures available.. I visited there in June and there was no air conditioning inside but it was fine in there due to 9 pools present around temple
