This temple is dedicated to Kamakshi Devi. The temple complex is big and well maintained. The black statue of Kamakshi Devi is quite intriguing. this is a famous temple of devi kamakshi, located at vasant kunj. this is based on ideologies of kanchi kamakoti peeta of sankaracharya. the deity is beautiful, carved in black stone. it is also ganapathy and aadi sankara deities are also on the left and right side of the main sanctum. the temple complex is large and also has a big hall for carrying out any community activities etc. all pooja items are available at the entrance of the temple complex. Beautiful, traditional south Indian temple of SriKamakshi Amman... Archanai is possible. Flowers and garlands are available right outside the temple. Devotional visit to this temple of mata kamakshi. Love the temple and the atmosphere around the temple.

Good ambience, nice quiet place to worship

Highly popular temple in that area. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Kamakshi. Lots of devotees from nearby localities come here to offer their prayers and seek blessings. A very nice place for worship and meditation. Most of the rituals are performed in south Indian style. It is located in south Delhi near JNU university campus.
