IFF is one of the first not-for-profit organizations in India that is specifically focused on supporting talented young footballers from economically weaker sections to develop into professional footballers in an organized manner. IFF was founded by Indian football’s torchbearer, Bhaichung Bhutia along with his co-founders of Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools (BBFS) which is India’s largest group of football academies. Set up in February 2012, IFF provides organized long-term support to budding young footballers in India. With a strong focus on youth development, we look at supporting footballers in the age group of 7 to 19 years by providing various financial and non-financial resources for their well-being and development towards professional football. In order to complement the growth of exceptionally talented youngsters, IFF also actively supports various coaches development programs and projects related to development of football infrastructure. IFF works closely with BBFS, state governments and child-centered NGOs in order to fulfill its multiple objectives.
