Beautiful place to visit. You can see love, devotion, togetherness of people inside this ancient Masjid. Market around this place has huge number of non vegetarian food, for all foodies. If you have never visited this place, you should come here, once in your life time. This place is packed during Ramzan month. Whole night, the market is open for eating.

It is our first stop in our New Delhi trip. It is located int he middle of the city and the mosque is elevated that you need to take the stairs. They also have a security check so it is best not to have a bag with you for easy entry. To enter the mosque, you need to take off your shoes. Either you enter barefoot or with socks. We were told that we can use the hotel slippers so some brought it. You also need to think about what to wear as sleeveless shirt and shorts are not allowed. I suggest you bring extra clothes with you (if you want) to conform with the rules. Although scarfs and garments are available at the entrance for free, I suggest you bring your own for hygienic purposes! The mosque is really big and impressive. The color is also nice. Although it is a warm day, the stones are not really hot. You are free to roam around and explore.

This masjid is located in the center of the city. One needs to wear a head cover n proper body cloths..on Friday n Muslim festivals this is the most crowded place in Delhi. This place needs lots of attention n sanitisation work.oitside this mosque many shops are located where local manufactured goods artifacts are available at cheap rates.

One of the all magnificent monuments of India. Jama-masjid was truly awe-inspiring. And the greatest part was there was no entrance fees. Truly graceful place, a must visit place.

Nice and peaceful place. One amazing thing that you will notice Is that you are not allowed to wear shoes in your hands but you can take your shoes off and carry them in your hands. Didn't understand the logic behind but it seemed cool. The place is big enough and the market outside is amazing. Just stay away form electronic devices and gadgets as they are not even a first copy. Everything is fake. Also do bargain.
