i got a call, i donated, i donated 30,000. i felt good. i felt like i did my bit to save a child. i got a call again after a gap of few weeks, i wanted to help again, but a thought of donating repeatedly without personally knowing an organisation stopped me, i did some research, it increased my doubts so i put my decision on hold, but their repeated calls, their change in attitude and behavior which went to a level of threatening and being abusive over the calls and trying to mentally impact by saying things such as * if this happened to your family and children* *you are heartless* * you will pay for not helping* after repeatedly noticing such things, i was convinced it was a scam, and now i just want to say a few things, nobody donates because we feel threatened, we contribute because we feel for those who are suffering. keep your threats and dramas to yourself. i will ensure this will not effect me, i will not stop contributing or helping, but i will just be EXTRA CAREFUL with people and organisations like these.
