As a Power Trader, Newfields Power Trading offers the followings services: 1. Spot Sale / Purchase of Power: Help and facilitate large industrial consumers purchase power and generators sell power through Energy Exchanges (i.e. Indian Energy Exchange or IEX and Power Exchange of India Limited or PXIL) on day ahead / weekly basis. 2. Bilateral (RTC Trades) Sale and Purchase of Power: Purchase Power from Captive Power Plants (CPPs), Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Merchant Power Plants (MPPs) and/or Renewal Energy sources, and sell/provide power to various State utilities and Open Access consumers on Short-term, Medium-term and Long-term basis. 3. Take permission of Open Access on behalf of consumers and schedule power from respective State and Regional Load Dispatch Centres. 4. Help in settlement of Unscheduled Interchange (UI) charges applicable as per the guidelines of CERC and various state regulatory authorities under ABT Mechanism. 5. Power Banking Arrangement. 6. Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).
