I visited the Paryatan Parv again in 2019 which was organized near India Gate, Delhi. There were presentation by most states which were decorated nicely with beautiful posters of places of relevance to tourists. There were lots of detailed brochures for visitors to take supported by very informative and cheerful staff. Besides they also had food stalls, handicrafts, live cooking and live performance by local artists who performed during the day and in evenings on stage. I returned with tons of information and travel plans. Thanks a lot to Ministry of Tourism for this annual festival. There were sufficient number of drinking water tables, clean toilets, volunteers, parking space and its entry gate was right next to Central Secretariat Metro Station which makes the commute seamless. Perfect place to spend 2 complete days with family.

Paryatan Parv is an annual event held at the Rajpath Lane between the India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan. This year's Paryatan Parv was themed upon Mahatma Gandhi's 150th Birth Anniversary and was started on 2nd October. It ran until 6th October, 2019 from 11 am to 9 pm daily. All the 28 States and 9 Union Territories had their individual stalls exhibiting their local textiles, crafts and various other things on the left side of the pavilions divided on either sides of the Rajpath Lane. On the right side were the food stalls where people enjoyed cuisines from different Indian States and UTs. A number of selfie points were built in keeping with people's love for photos and social media posts. One more thing that attracted hundreds of visitors was the digital interactive exhibition on Bapu. In case you missed the Paryatan Parv this year, then you will have to wait for its 2020 edition. Nearest metro point to the venue is Central Secretariat Exit 3.
