The first mine to be set up here, this mine came into existence in the 1950’s and it is an open mine. Meaning it gets real dusty inside. Though still in use it is a perfect example of a 1950 Soviet style planning and execution with matching Government buildings inside. Oh I almost forgot this is still a high profit making organization and one of the nine gems of the Indian Government Organization
