Fundada a 26 de Maio de 2003 por um grupo de nove empresas, a APOGEN é constituída por empresas da indústria farmacêutica presentes no mercado português e dedicadas à produção e/ou comercialização de medicamentos genéricos e biossimilares. Os medicamentos genéricos e biossimilares desempenham um papel fundamental no desenvolvimento de um sistema de saúde sustentável ao proporcionarem melhores resultados em saúde e uma maior eficiência dos cuidados de saúde ao serviço dos doentes. ---------------------- APOGEN - Portuguese Association of Generics and Biosimilar Medicines is a national, non-profit organization, governed by democratic criteria, independent of the state, public administration and professional or confessional organizations. Founded on 26th of May 2003, by a group of nine companies, APOGEN is constituted by companies of the pharmaceutical industry present in the Portuguese market and dedicated to the production and/or commercialization of generic and biosimilar medicines. Generic and biosimilar medicines play a key role in the development of a sustainable health system by providing better health outcomes and greater health care efficiency for patients.
