Quiet hostel in the quiet town of Otavalo. The staff is really friendly. Can get your own beers and chill around on the terrace. Lots of places to hike around and the hostel staff helps with organizing the reliable transport and guide.

Pros: Big, beautiful bedroom. Cosy beds. Very clean. Kitchen for guest use. Friendly staff. Good location (close to market). Cons: Only one toilet/shower for girls and one for boys - in one room so if you need the loo but someone's having a shower, you have to wait. Toilets don't have floor to ceiling door so no matter which room of the Hostal you're in, you can hear people on the toilet.

Nicely decorated rooms and eating area. Clean kitchen and bathroom. Very centrally located, very near to the main Otavalo attraction - Plaza de Ponchos. The city is easily walkable, also from the main bus station. Marcelo was very helpful with day trips, other information and making fruit juices. Would come again.

One of the cleanest hostel I've ever seen. Rooms and bathrooms are nice and comfortable, the showers are perfect. Very good kitchen as well and a big common table to eat together with the others backpackers. Staff very nice and helpful.

Lovely hostel. Clean, safe and very friendly staff. In the centre of town, close to the market and some nice restaurants. Perfect for spending a night or two in Otavalo.

Nice big rooms in a really convenient location in the centre of town. All rooms open from the entrance hall/dining area so can be a little noisy in the mornings, but quiet in the evenings. Friendly owner.

Otravel Consultant Company

Excellent place to be if you are going to stay for short periods of time. It is located a few meters from tourist sites such as Plaza de Ponchos, Simón Bolívar Park as well as restaurants and grocery stores. It is highly valued the last week of August as because of the city holidays and the excellent location to see the principal parade. Prices are very comfortable in relation to the quality of the service they offer.
