This is a place where you can hire a guide for this trip or other hikes or give a donation. The path is not difficult and a medium walk. You don't need to hire a guide if you have water, a smartphone with a GPS map like MapsMe and a little bit of endurance. You can't fail the path. I took a picture of the price list.

The guide at the beginning of the trail was extremely annoying, bordering rude. He was stopping people before the walk and giving them a long speech with a patronising tone, trying to scare them about the trail, so that they would hire a guide. Completely unjustified. Trail is clearly marked and presents no danger whatsoever, even to someone with very little mountain experience. I guess the guides could market their skills offering knowledge of local flora ad fauna, plus history, but using this scare tactics and in such a rude way is just disgusting.

Went there 8 am and I didn't hire a guide, everyone there knew I was going to arrive the waterfall around 10am, they also knew that If I wanted to be able to see anything I should arrive at around 12, but since I didn't hired a guide they didn't tell me that, so I went uo there and couldn't see anything, found out later about this, so screw you guys from ACV-VC, specially the uruguyan girl at the entrance, could have told me to wait 2 hours instead.
