I had to put my 15-year old Aussie down. She was with us since 2007... I love that dog and she was part of us. It was so hard. But, the receptionist helped me get through making an appointment. I thought I couldn’t even get that far. They were very kind to my dog and super patient with me. They explained everything and didn’t rush us. My dog kind of sat down as the premeds hit her and she just rested. And then she peacefully went to sleep and they administered the last dose. I was so sad I thought I was going to pass out, but they just understood. I was allowed my grief without concern. My dog was allowed a quiet passing. I cannot thank them enough helping me through the hardest decision. I still feel terrible, but at least my dog was treated so well and professionally and she doesn’t have to suffer any longer. ️

My pug Bubbles is limping for no obvious reason. Although not an immediate emergency, it was concerning enough to me that I have her evaluated as soon as possible. I was given an appointment four days later which is reasonable. Gayla, the receptionist, reached out to us the next day stating an appointment had opened up for that day! That meant so much to my family knowing that she remembered that Bubbles needed to be seen. We have always had a great experience with Pawz To Care however this simple yet kind gesture reinforced our thought that we truly have the best veterinary team!

I had an emergency with my cat Zia. She had a run in with a feral cat and had a puncture wound on her neck that lead to an inflection. I did not notice at the time what had happened. By the time I did notice the wound it had become infected. It was about 20 minutes to closing and the office receptionist Gayla was really kind. Dr. Sim had just ended her day and was about to leave when Gayla explained my situation. Dr. Sim waited for me to arrive with Zia to examine the wound. The staff met me outside and quickly took Zia in for examination. The process was quick and Zia was returned completely unaffected. Thank you!
