Alvarez Duran winery is located in the village of Porrera, in the famous world wine region of Priorat, in Catalonia, Spain. This family project has begun in 2014 as the achievement of a dream of the owners: Salus Alvarez and Josefina Duran. Both have been working many years in agriculture and making wine. Together, they had three children: Salustia, Joseph and Marc. Every member of the family contributes to the cellar and share the passion for the earth and wine world. They produce 1800 bottles per year and have seven different wines between red, red sweet and white sweet wines. As a mission, Alvarez Duran aspires to become a benchmark to produce high-quality wines with limited production by respecting the rules of the DOQ Priorat in every process of viticulture, winemaking, and commercialization.
