Although the staff is very friendly, I really don't feel the room was worth the 1490SEK per night they charged us. Gorgeous surroundings though.

A really nice hotel, seated in a historical building and located right at the lake Siljan with a spectacular view. Very affordable prices and a nice staff. The breakfast is a treat with everything you could ask for. The hotel is run by the swedish church, so there's no alcohol served. Hence the 4 star review. Nice and quiet and a perfect place for families with young kids.
Beautiful place with a buffet full of excellent meat, fish and all sort of vegetables. After the lunch you can relax with a peaceful view of the lake.
Had the buffé lunch. Pretty damn good for 100 krona
