I just loved the style, the coffee is amazing the service too. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Monterrey.

Great tasting coffee in a hip and well appointed location. Pastry options, both salty and savory, is fantastic. Well worth the visit!

Best coffee in miles around! They offer various preparation methods, all coffees are mexican, and some are better than others, but the staff can advise you based in your taste and prep method. La Nacional co-exists in the same space with BreAd so you can also get delicious bread and pastries to go with your coffee. The decor is very basic and the sofas and chairs need some maintenance but it’s cozy.

If you want to see how roast defects can affect the taste of your coffee, it is the place to go. I went there with high expectation based on the nice reviews and that they locally roast their coffee. I left their store with three bags of fresh roast coffee beans. The first one was ok, the second completely stalled (undrinkable), and the third one the beans were scorched (which give you a nice burn taste in your cup). If you are serious about the quality of the beans you buy, do not go there.

Bummer! I live a few blocks from here and come here at least twice a week to get coffee a delicious muffin or pastry and I usually order on the bread counter, today since I was ordering just coffee they asked me to order on the coffee counter I go there and as always I order my latte, but I made the mistake to ask if they could apply the discount for coming walking. The lady looked at me like if I was begging for money and told me \ you have your ID? Because only if you show your ID that proves you live near by\ ...I'm like..ugh ? Ok, thank you and I walked away. I keep thinking what a way to spoil my morning run.. anyways I been customer since 2015 and they have never asked me for ID here or anywhere to redeem a discount or promotion. On another note the quality of the coffee and bread is perfect. (Except my latte today was so blended missing the foam and texture)
