My favorite place I ate in El Chalten. Very cozy ambience, friendly staff and awesome food. Loved the pastas, pizza and pie. Also enjoyed the free popcorn for snacking. Would highly recommend.

Extra class! A microbrewery with attached restaurant, a stunning beer garden serves a tasty weissbier and excellent Argentinian food. The waiters speak a bit of English and are friendly to excuse my poor Spanish. Went back here twice as I enjoyed the tree-shaded outside area and the option of paying by card without a big fuzz.

We went here twice on our trip; the empanadas were the best we had while traveling Argentina and their mushroom soup was great. We tried the pumpkin ravioli as well as the spinach ravioli and both were worth the money. The apple pie was the best we’ve ever had.

I just loved this place. My husband and I stayed in El Chalten for 5 days and this was our favourite place for dinner. It’s cozy, the staff is nice and smiling and the food is great (if you have the chance, try the “Locro”).

Magical little restaurant, delicious food such as stuffed pumpkin (looks like a butternut squash tastes like a pumpkin), real vegetable pizza, and amazing lasagna. It is also an awesome microbrewery! An extensive gluten free menu for people that doesn't skimp on the ingredients or efforts. Definitely, a most memorable meal!

Really nice microbrewery pub in a remote part of the world. Great setting, and pretty cozy at lunch time. The selection of local El Chalten craft beers were limited to three types of lighter beers - wheat, pilsner, bock - perhaps not at the level of craft beers to be found in my home of Australia, but much better compared to the imported junk sold at local grocery stores. There're other beers available too, but the same stuff you'd find in any pub around the world - not worth drinking if you're into craft beers. The food menu was fairly extensive for a small pub. There're nice local fair such as empanadas, lacro stew, stuffed veggies, etc. There's also generic Italian food such as pastas and pizzas, which would be great comfort food after a day long trek along one of the famous local hiking trails. The pricing was moderate, around 140 pesos for local beer, 90 pesos for an empanada, and up to 350 pesos for larger meals. Not bad at all for a tourist town! All in all, a pretty nice place for a meal or a brew.

This place is lovely. Interesting decorations, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. We ate the house special locro and it is the best I have had in Argentina (definitely ask for the bread, it has a wonderful texture and just a hint of salt, reminiscent of the bread produced from a home breadmaker). The beer and wine were also good, and the walnut brownie with ice cream was excellent (although I probably should have refrained after eating the locro).

Great atmosphere with comfortable outside seating in the sun with good weather. Loved their own pilsner beer. The vegetable soup was very tasteless, but came with nice crunchy sticks and delicious dip. Service was quite slow and not too attentive, but very friendly. Would recommend to just go for some beers / drinks in the afternoon after hiking!
