Machines are slightly old and you can tell and following the instructions is a challenge, but it's a good value-for-money self-service laundry to use within a 10-minute walking distance from Sendai station. You can't put coins into the washer / dryers directly, you have to load a wash card with money (look for a blue console in the front left corner) and use it to operate the machines. Don't be afraid to ask a helpful Japanese passer-by for instructions, as I did with the help of Google Translate. Happy washing!
