South Forbes Golf Course and Club posed a challenging yet satisfyingly fun course to play golf on, asides from the high quality of service and golfing accommodation provided (such as COVID-precautions in caddy service and golf carts), the actual course itself was beautifully manicured and despite heavy rains, was still perfectly maintained. The golf course is challenging to both amateurs and professionals (as I am an amateur golfer and my friend who was with me was a professional golfer). The narrowness of each hole proved to be an exciting yet also stressful characteristic of the course, you must be prepared to lose a few balls by going out of bounds but the fact is, the challenge made every solid swing quite satisfying. For guests, members and foreigners alike, the rates provided to play on this golf course are quite reasonable. Every caddy that my friends and I played with were courteous, knowledgable and experienced to the point that the caddies consistently were more accurate in distance-measuring than my own estimates ( rangefinder). I highly recommend any golfer to come and try playing at South Forbes Golf Course!

Short, hilly, scenic golf course. Par 67 but when you exit the fairway it's often jungle, cliff, or water hazard. Fun layout especially for shorter hitters, since it's not even 5000 yards long. Terrain makes for huge elevation changes, most notable the 10th hole, a par 3 with a straight drop down. Lots of postcard views on almost every hole. Fairways have been overrun by native grass but were very lush. Surprisingly good Bermuda greens, probably tifdwarf or tifeagle. In super shape, pretty fast. Greens are extremely undulating and severe. You need help reading them from the caddies. P1720 green fee on weekdays including cart makes this a great deal. I enjoyed my round and shot 15 over 82 in my first shot at it. Best to leave driver at home since this is all about target golf and staying in the fairway. Bring lots of balls!

Par 67 course with narrow fairways which makes them unforgiiving. If you master this course, transition to other golf courses with wider faurways will be easy. Course is also well maintained bar the toilet facilities within the course which require fixing/facelift.

In my opinion, this is a terrible place; a terrible golf course. Why? Simply because they do NOT charge the same fees for everyone. Foreigners or especially tourists pay much higher fees. This is ridiculous and really stupid (also my opinion, of course) because they are losing business. I will never go back.

As a member i am totally disgusted at the club where members are not looked after or given any priority after paying yearly sub.. Today 31st july 2020 management gave preference to walk in guests by not providing carts and caddies to 2 members who play every friday, every week... The golf manager was informed at 6.15 players as always were on the way and to save 2 carts... Walk in guests took the carts and played whilst members were turned away at 6.35 am.. A total lack of respect shown by the club who also fail to allow bookings, Tee times or caddie choice as all other clubs do... Dont join here... Management are poor and do not repond to requests of their members...

Golf is a difficult game and on this course the extra changes in elevation sloping fairways which are horrendous and so narrow make it almost impossible to enjoy. I would liken it to a Micky mouse course designed by Disney Land employees. My handicap is 14 and play to it and sometimes better so my criticism I think is valid and well founded. The condition was only average with fairways in places bald and dusty the greens sanded and dressed not good the day I played.

Short but tricky course. Good for practicing those irons. A good course management is needed in this golf course. Course condition is excellent.

Surprised to see so many 5-star ratings. Must not be very particular. Someone posted that it’s not a real course and I agree. What architect designed this horror show?
