For a month long stay, the food was good and seemed hygienic, and the warden was friendly and helpful too (she'd help me get the bug off my room's ceiling even at 11pm). Spacious rooms with good environment for studying. I stayed at many pgs/hostels in siliguri and had disappointing experiences even after paying hefty amount of fees. But this one is quite an exception with not only good experience but reasonable fee too... I'd say worth the price.

At first the hostel seems good but as the day passes you get to see the true hostel that it is. In terms of food I would say 'BAKWAS' the rooms are fine. Electricity and water problems every now and then. When in summer the current goes off there's no generator or inverter even. This was my experience of this hostel.

Food here is worst . We get very unhealthy and unhygienic food here . They take advance money for jan- March and don’t refund later if we want to leave the hostel . Since this is the nearest hostel to Akash institute , they take the most benefit out of it and we are so helpless . It’s been 5 months that I’m here , I’ve quit eating hostel food and I have to order food online . This hostel makes our Akash journey more difficult.

It is a hostel that is situated just opposite to the Aakash Coaching Institute for JEE MAINS And IIT-JEE making it easy for the students. Just cross the road and step in to the flight of staircase that will lead you to your destination. Apart from all of this, Totos, Auto-rickshaws, Rikshaws, Tracors are available for near and far locations. The hostel building is situated in a place in which students can have tasty Paani Puris and buy from stores for stationery and other important things.
