We can only board and deboard busses run by SN(Sikkim Nationalized Transport). Both AC as well as NonAC busses are available. The buses are pitty cheap when compared to other transportation options that go to major sikkim cities like Gangtok, Namchi, Rabong, etc. There is as spacious waiting room with ample seating capacity for the benefit of the passengers. The public toilets could be a lot cleaner. It also has as suvnior shop where we can buy Sikkim merchandise. It basically just serves the purpose.

If you are planning to visit Gangtok then Sikkim National Transport AC buses are quite comfortable, it will take almost 5 hrs to reach Gangtok. Your waiting time may be 2- 3 hrs during festive season, no advance booking can be done. Don't get confused with Tenzing Norgay bus terminus its SNT bus stand.

This bus terminus is located opposite to the main bus terminus of Siliguri and buses at regular intervals are available for Gangtok. This place also has a small canteen where one can have their meals at discounted rates. The buses are quite small and leave mostly in the morning. One must try to reach early as the buses get full quite early.

By far the best transportation services to and fro from Siliguri to Gangtok and other town in Sikkim State. They charge only Rs.150/- for a non AC bus to Gangtok and Rs. 250/- for an AC bus.

Sikkim Nationalized Transport popularly known as SNT is a place from where you can get public buses and sumo/bolero on sharing and reserve basis for Sikkim.. It connects siliguri to Sikkim.. It is situated just opposite of siliguri junction /tenzing norgay bus terminus The place is not hygienic and clean.. Though it has pay and use toilet just outside SNT.. There is also an HDFC ATM opposite of SNT
