Airport is fine. The airport staff is courteous and helpful but some airlines have very rude staff. The airlines should just chuck them out. Air travel is not just about luxury. People who can ill afford it have to choose it because of some emergencies. The least they can do is to be courteous.

A small, quiet, and clean clean military airport, clean washrooms. On arrival, try and bargain with autos/cabbies for your destination. Photography is prohibited in the airport.

Bad planning and execution. The safety measures such as PPE distribution process was so badly planned that I felt more exposed to COVID risk than feeling safer

A small cozy airport where one does not have to board a bus out of the flight. At 8.30 in morning there was no one at the #SikkimTourism counter, which am sure is not a good sign to strengthem tourism in Sikkim. So, tried getting help with #mayIHelpYou , a lady there who claimed was from some medical section refused to help with my query regarding the missing attender at sikkim tourism counter. There was a west bengal counter , that lady said sikkim was out of scope for her, fair enough. Later got help from a managee lady and said the tourism counter opens at 10 am.... so isnt Sikkim state loosing out on some revenue by not assisting tourists who arrive before 10 am? While we were waiting to het the cal taxi of ola, the driver called and asked us to come to a #cargopoint as the local non-ola taxi drivers do not allow them to enter the exit premises. This reminded me of the #goaAirport where #airport authorities do not allow any outside vehicles to get into arrival points.
