Sloanes Restaurant Reviews | Rating 4 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Sloanes Restaurant is located in Wakefield, United Kingdom on 10 Drury Ln. Sloanes Restaurant is rated 4 out of 5 in the category italian restaurant in United Kingdom. The food at Sloanes Restaurant is rooted in Italian tradition and created with expertly sourced, seasonal local produce. Our chef’s pride themselves on their creative flair and the skillful way in which they have reinterpreted classic Italian cooking using Yorkshire’s abundant larder. The restaurant also has an excellent, well-edited wine list to compliment the delicious produce from the kitchen. Sloanes is characterised by sophisticated modern styling, which we think you’ll love, whether it’s business or pleasure that brings you to us. The bright décor, big skylight, and generous use of plants around well spaced tables give Sloanes a Mediterranean feel, while the traditional Italian food is served with an eye to presentation that immediately sets it apart from its competitors. Crisp pizzas, beautifully prepared pasta dishes, a tempting choice of chicken and steak, plus daily seafood specials are enough to keep the most demanding diners happy.

Worst service I have ever experienced. We arrived at 17.30 for a meal. There were 21 of us for a birthday meal. We was still there at 20.45 trying to figure the bill out. One member of staff in particular was incredibly rude when I asked if it was possible for the kids dessert to come out. The menu stated fresh home cut chips, the ones we were served were definitely not fresh home cut chips. McCain's frozen I would say. When it came to paying the bill, the staff had zero idea on how to split it into separate Bills. And had to go through each party with what they ate and cross it off the receipt. Bad service, not so great food, at a disgrace price. Definitely do not receive.

Went for afternoon tea as a treat from friends. Lovely restaurant. Friendly staff and an amazing afternoon tea. The scones were warm, the prosecco was cold and the company excellent!
