The 3rd Biotech Atelier is set for 24th - 25th Sep 2020 Biotech Atelier - the annual conference of Eastern Europe uniting futurists, thinktanks, entrepreneurs, business leaders and experts in Biotechnology, Life Science, IT, Healthcare and Pharma. By gathering interdisciplinary and international key players from science and business, the conference promotes knowhow exchange, collaboration and new business creation. Format Biotech Atelier is an annual one-day conference held in September and followed by a second day for deep-dive discussions on selected topics. A series of smaller, spin-off events are held throughout the year. Mission Biotech Atelier promotes partnerships creation for collaboration and commercialization of the vastly underutilized smarts potential in Bulgaria and across Eastern Europe. The conference serves as a platform for kickstarting a vibrant regional ecosystem. Story Biotech Atelier started in 2018 as a joint initiative of Prescriptia (Pharma Consultancy), the Bulgarian Association of Personalized Medicine – BAPAMED. In 2019 Biotech Atelier welcomed 240+ attendees, representing 100+ companies, with expertise in biotechnology, IT, healthcare, life science, pharma, regulatory and law. Amongst them were 48 high-profile speakers (scientists, entrepreneurs, futurists, business leaders and investors), who lead 10+ hours of engaging panel discussions across 18 topics. Amongst the topics of 2019 were AI and IT in Medicine, ATMPs, the MEGA project, Biobanking & Biomarkers, Clinical Trials, Genomics, Personalized Medicine, Access to Funding.
