Hired them to drill holes in existing drywall, fill with insulation and seal the holes. They fit me into the schedule when I needed it and did a good job and the improvement to the sound insulation was great. Clean up was pretty good considering what was done. I would use them again.

I would give this a place a 0 If I could!! I know it may sound crazy but they did not even put the Insulation in after having to pay 8 grand for it to be done. They got away with at at first when we had just moved in in the fall but when it turned winter the whole house was freezing cold because they didn't do there job at all whatsoever! Eventually after high heat bills and water damage we found out. USE A DIFFERENT INSULATION COMPANY!!!

Called for a bid on insulation for my basement. The guy reeked of smoke. I asked for 2 bid - 1 normal, the other with sound insulation. I chose the sound \package\ which was more expensive. Install day came. The install guys were FANTASTIC. Everything was great until I got the bill - more than 10% more than the bid amount. I called to complain - no response. Called again and I got a math worksheet on how they came to that number, but no explanation why it wasn't in the bid amount. Checked on it again, with so response. I've given this company several opportunities, and have only received finance charges. If you are looking for a solid bid, skip Specialty.

I've had my home for 30 years and decided to look into having more insulation blown into my attic to take advantage of the Avista rebate. I called Specialty to come by to look at what I had and how much more I would need. They came at no charge. I was totally amazed when the representative (Tom) informed me that the R value that I had was good and that I didn't actually need anymore. It would have been very easy for him to rip me off installing more insulation, as I wouldn't have any way of knowing the difference. While he was here he also helped me by figuring out why I've been having an ice dam and a large amount of ice cicles every Winter in one certain area on my roof. I'd been looking at the roof and attic all this time and it was actually a problem that I have inside the house, which will be an easy fix. No charge from him for that much appreciated information either. It's not often we come across an actual honest and reliable company these days.
