As one of the previous post no one feels comfortable providing our full social security over the phone to schedule a first time appointment. I’m fine giving insurance info but not s.s. I feel they are trying to take advantage of the lower income population that they usually deal with totally unacceptable. They act like we can’t go somewhere else.

I called the office to set up a first time appointment for my daughter aug.3rd,2020. We have insurance through my daughter's dad. Apon setting up the appointment the receptionist asked for my daughters full social # I asked if it was legal and even necessary for them to have my daughters social. I have been asked for dads last four social numbers and a copy of identification along with the insurance card. The receptionist put me on hold to ask the office manager and said yes they need my daughter's social and it was the doctors policy. I was disappointed that she hung up on me after I said I'm not going to give my daughter's social to the office then I asked for her name because I was going to report what just happened and for my own record i felt it was important, she then hung up on me. I was at a loss for words when a trained professional hung up on me. A poor work ethic she should handle calls good or bad with a better work ethic ,but she hung up on me like a child would. I called my insurance company I was informed my daughters social should not be required it is the responsible party/ insurance carrier that is asked for a copy of the insurance card/identification and last 4 digits of there social. I think I need to make a report with the bbb
I called this office had a good experience over the phone. I decided to come in for the first time as new patient for my son and I. However the Receptionist has horrible customer service. I understand your working inputting information on the computer not once she acknowledged me stand there for 5mins. She called a patient hand him paper work and didn’t look at me went back to work on the computer. I asked her if this is how they work not friendly she said she was going to welcome me after she finished her work. Don’t recommend to anyone
I was a new patient here and left within an hour. I didn't need to wait long to be seen at all and once I was taken back it all went quick and smooth. Definitely sticking with this place. Dr Wilkins is just amazing!
Dr. Is amazing everyone very polite. Front desk receptionist is the ONLY reason I'm leaving as a patient. She spoke to me like a child that SHE told me to schedule follow up. Shes the receptionist how come she didn't book it with me on the way out. No one told me nothing. I have been waiting since FEBURARY!!!! No one has bothered calling me. So instead of resolving the issue. She spent 15 mins telling ME how everything was my fault. I will not be referring anyone. I cannot imagine someone talking to my mom or aunt like that.
