The Dutch Cemetery is situated near Katargam Gate in"Gufam Falia". This cemetery has Tombs of Baron Adrian Vah Reede who was the Director of the Dutch Company, Bastina Theodora Le Bouca, Polus d ru etc. The Dutch Tombs are of various sizes and shapes, but the one that excels all the rest in magnificence is the grandiose tomb of Baron Adrain Van Reede. Must visit.. Maintained by ASI...

Great place right in middle of Concrete Jungle in the metropolis. The Architecture is of great worth but it has weathered with time. Civic authorities should take some action soon regarding preserving and restoration of the place. It has got the Armenian cemetery more than 500 years old and a much larger Dutch cemetery of around 350 years old. Need of an hour is to preserve such masterpiece of colonial architecture in India.

Really peaceful and eye catching place I would say this is. If you're a photographer you will definitely feel good about this place and also this is a really good place for making short films or doing some videography! Some new buildings surrounding this historical place would itch you if you're a photographer! The place is perfect for shooting some songs! There are lesser graves here than English cemetery so you can freely roam! The best time to go there is between 9am to 10am when you have good sunlight there! And it opens at 9am in morning.

Good place to visit and best place to get your photoshoots done and the history is so good that you should know if you have keen interest in history. Here dont expect this place to clean but it is so calm and you can observe this place

It is a nice place to visit. The route to here is not much good and it is too small. There is no sign boards here. There is no tickets to enter into this cemetery, even there is no security guys or employees here. Construction wise the cemetery is really nice. But no one is taking care of the place. People who are staying nearby are not considering this as a place of attraction

This is performing a lot in Surat City's History. But now a days City Government have no attention on this place. Approx 100 grave monuments with their name plate also. That are really a Golden page of history. Now a days many structure are not in good condition and people are using them for playing now.

Its good place to have some rest and for the historical purpose. But what i think is it is being ignored as a forseeing place Some modification amd repairment should be done It can be improved and Can be more adventerious place to wander. And also there is no ristrictions on entry.. which it self suggest no importance of a place

Nice place ,Beautiful memorial verses have been engraved on the tombs. There was a tombstone of a baby who died merely 2 months after her birth. Tombs of army soldiers, captains and their families fill up this medium sized ground. Each touching verse spoke about how the person had lived, how he or she touched their lives and how they wish his or her soul rests in peace. Each message was filled with sentiments and affection of the departed’s loved ones.
