Dealing with Hardikkumar Dhameliya at a Swastik Wholesale has been frustrating. We purchased 23 sarees. 4 of them arrived damaged/frayed. Usually some sarees will have an attached blouse piece at the end that will have fraying. This was not the case here. These frays were in the main part of the saree. When I brought this issue up to Hardikkumar on WhatsApp, he offered me these three solutions (I’m not joking)... 1. That I use thread cutters to remove the fraying. He sent me a photo of a thread cutter. You can’t jist cut off threads on an edge that’s supposed to be finished. It will continue to fray. 2. That I bring the saris in person from US to India to get them exchanged. 3. Or pay return shipping myself for the damaged sarees. On top of this, when we received the shipment, the customs invoice said that the parcel was a gift (it was not a gift. This was a business transaction) and that it was worth way less than what we paid them. When I brought this up to him he got frustrated with me and offered no clear explanation for the discrepancy between the customs invoice and the invoice we were sent. This company is unfair and unprofessional.
