The organization was founded in October 2011 in Tallinn, with the main aim of empowering young people of Estonia to live a pro-active lifestyle by providing them with opportunities to develop competencies for personal, professional and social growth. The mission of Shokkin Group Estonia is to empower young people of Estonia to live a pro-active lifestyle by providing them with opportunities to develop competencies for personal, professional and social growth. Since establishing the organization Shokkin Group carried out or partnered in more than 100 various projects and events. Hosted more than 400 young people and youth workers in Estonia sent more than 200 young people to participate in international projects and nvolved more than 1000 young people in local events.|Shokkin Group International is a not-for-profit organization representing a network of international partners registered in April 2015 in Estonia. The network is composed of youth organizations, youth workers, trainers in the youth field and active in Europe. The network enables its members to share and exchange practices connected with youth work, youth involvement and participation in the local and international communities. By day to day work the network and its members promote values of an inclusive and active society in and around Europe. Through grass-root local work with young people from various backgrounds and their involvement in international projects the network is building a stronger generation for the future.
