Was in the area so I thought I'd come try out some Utsunomiya gyoza. Everything was pretty good, but I liked the 焼き餃子 and 水餃子 better than the 揚げ餃子. The ジャジャンメン was not the same as the kind in China, butt still delicious. Price was overall very affordable as well, definitely recommended for those who have a transfer at the station

I was recommended this place as also being recommended and generally quite popular. We've arrived around 19:45. The store was full and line of about 15 people in front. At 20:00 was last order time, so staff asked everyone for their orders, including drinks. We've waited for about 15 minutes, before we were seated. They make boiled gyōza, fried and normal one (焼). Beer and some other alcohol is served here as well too. Toilets are not on the premises, but on the same floor. The equipment and general design is modern and clean. Staff is good as well. Prices are quite cheap, decent i'd say
Not a fan of japanese gyoza. Came all the way from tokyo just to give it a shot. There were descriptions about how beijing people eat gyoza but what's in the store is not even close. The taste was not bad, just that nothing was outstanding.
There were two shopfronts and two lines, I chose the shorter one! In the longer line you had the option to buy frozen gyoza and styrofoam boxes so you could take it home and cook it yourself. I regretted not getting some but Minmin branches are located all over Utsunomiya. I got 6 pan-fried and 6 boiled gyoza with rice and Japanese pickles as a set for 580! It was really good and I finished it really quickly! I think the fried gyoza are the best because of the delicate fried lace that develops around the bottom. It's amazing and delicious. The gyoza is thin skinned but not spectacularly so. The boiled gyoza has enough structure to pick up but can easily be cut in half. Both can be bitten, dipped, and finished off! That's how I prefer to eat them rather than one bite. They soak up the sauce well and the boiled gyoza was completely sealed. I'm not much of a gyoza person but there was nothing bad about this place.
I believe it is overhyped and as a result doesn't warrant the long queues. Food is good but not great!
Lacking in flavor. The gyoza was so so...but the ambiance was nice.

知り合いの料理研究家の方から、駅前で餃子食べるなら… ここじゃない？と進めて頂き来店。 のちにわかることですが宇都宮の餃子界を引率している「みんみん」さんの駅前店です。 皮は割と普通の厚み、通常タイプの餃子で素材の旨みを活かすおいしさ。味が濃いのが好きな人は醤油を多めに入れるとお口に合うと思います！ この後本町にある方のみんみんさんに食べに行ってわかることですが…本町店の方が俄然うまいです。 ただ立地の良さと清潔感などトータルで含めて使い勝手の良い店だと思います！ きもーち改札よりも少し歩くので多少時間に余裕の持った行動をおすすめしまーす！
