Stopped here with family on our way back to the states. We all thought the food here was really good, just the portions were a bit on the smaller side. The staff were excellent, and our waiter was pretty funny. He had a few good one liners. We did have a margarita or two here. The mother in law said the restaurant a block south used to have the best margaritas, but they changed them and now this place is her go too. It’s right next to the border crossing and made for a convenient stop on the way home. Just a note this place is CASH ONLY.

I have stopped at Pueblo Viejo a couple of times for beer before heading back across the border. It's right THERE by the entrance to US Customs area. Very nice, clean restaurant, friendly staff and good prices on beers. They have had live music when I've been there, so that's a nice plus. Maybe next time I will try the food and report how it is.
