A representative stopped by our house uninvited the other day. My husband agreed to an appointment since he's been interested in replacing the windows and it was scheduled for today (2 days later). The representative assured us that the estimator would spend minimal time in the house (COVID, after all). He spent an hour. Not only did he spend an hour, but he wasn't wearing an appropriate mask. it was soft, stretchy, breathable cotton material, and very thin looking. It was more like a cheap \gaiter\ than a mask and I doubt it did anything to protect anyone. Of course the estimator arrived at a time when I was very busy with work. I had to leave my office so he could measure the windows. I tried to get back to my work, but he insisted I had to see the window. I saw the window. It was not, as the original canvasser had told us, the same as the few new windows we do have in the house. I pointed this out. I also noted that I had to get back to work. The estimator/salesman/whatever he was REFUSED to give my husband a quote for window replacement because I didn't have time to listen to his sales pitch. What kind of legitimate company does that? The guy spent an HOUR milling about our home in an inadequate mask, interfered with my work, and then refused to provide an estimate because I needed to get back to work, not watch him show off a miniature model window.

My patio door in the basement leaks and ruined my carpet and molded the wall along the baseboard. They simply added more caulk to repair it. They then came back and put a piece of board along the upper deck against the house to prevent water from going down to the bottom level and into the patio door frame. The windows gaps were covered with aluminum and caulked. The gap shown is where the window ended and the outside brick began. It was covered with aluminum and caulked. I smell mold in that room but they couldn't detect it. How convenient. Now my bay window is coming apart. The came back and added more caulk. The piece sticking out on the bay window is because when they folded the aluminum to go under it was cut to long and pushes itself away from the house. That's why the separation. They fixed it once but couldn't figure out why it was happening. I did.

Excellent customer service! Henry and Mike were professional, courteous, on-time and handled the glass with care. Vytex would provide delivery updates to their facility as well as when it would be at our home. They were able to properly size the French door windows for our patio, and we received outstanding service. They also helped clean our shattered glass door. I will use them in the future and recommend them to family, friends and neighbors.

We have been in the window & door business for nearly 30 years. We have purchased and installed a fair number of windows from Vytex. They have an excellent product, we would highly recommend their products. However, it stops there. There service is absolutely horrible. Most times when you call in to the company you get voicemail. Getting service from them is VERY difficult. What good is a product when the service behind it is miserably pitiful?? This company would get 1 star for that reason.

Vytex stood behind their warranty after 17 years. Excellent installation technicians and customer service.
