I recently had an appointment for a Heart Cath at WakeMed Heart Center. Dr. Neupane and his team took great care of me from start to finish. My husband and I were impressed with each and every team member we encountered from the time we walked in the door to the time I was discharged. My nurse Tammy was personable, professional, empathetic and very knowledgeable. She treated my husband and me with great respect and attended to every need. She and her team of nurses were in my room within seconds after pressing the nurse call button. Jason, the Cath Lab RN/Tech, walked me through every step of the procedure and kept my husband updated multiple times throughout the procedure via text. We could not have had a better clinical team or a better all around experience. Dr. Neupane made sure I understood what was going to happen, explained what my plan of care would be after the procedure, came to personally check on me three times during my post op care, and made sure we knew how to reach him in the event I had an issue after discharge. His bedside manner and disposition throughout my procedure was calming yet confident and reassuring. Every cath lab team member was clearly an expert in their role, introduced themselves and made sure I knew what to expect. I will recommend WakeMed Heart Center and Dr. Neupane over and over again! We had an impeccable experience.
Service at the front desk is very poor. The receptionist is very rude and impatient
My husband has been going here for years and will not see anyone else when it comes to heart issues, I also see the heart doctors here. I don;t believe my husband would be here today if he had been anywhere else with his past two heart attacks. I have so much faith in everyone here for him as well as myself and the staff are wonderful...
Excellent staff here, they work together as a true team and really seem to care about patients.
