A magical place on the Mokihinui river mouth. Plentiful driftwood on the beach for the wood fired pizza over and fire pit. Bakery with pizza bases and coffee onsite. Huge area for camping. This was our 2nd visit here and a 3rd and 4th visit will happen!!

We had no idea this place existed until a gentleman at Fox River suggested we check it out. We are so glad we did. Such a cool campground, beautiful location, great facilities. We’re definitely keen to return.

Gotta be in the top Three campsites in NZ!!Beach across the road,river mouth to swim or do water activities,an open pizza oven for all to cook with,loungy communal area and kitchen,a wide variety of accomodation,scrumptious and tempting food truck & cafe,ample space to kick a ball pitch a tent,caravan.Clean facilities great helpful staff....it's a great place to stay.Highly recommend️

Great location, lovely owners and nice being able to pick your own unpowered site. BUT the current toilet, showers and kitchen are inadequate for the amount of people here over Xmas NewYears. (2 showers, 2 boys and 2 girls toilets). (with a couple porta loos ) And with so few showers they get over used and are not very clean. They have plans to upgrade for next year which is good. Worth a visit, but not over busy periods if you like shower. Great cafe to be fair. and the burger van is a bonus.

Very nice Camping Ground which is made with love (flowers everywhere). You can search for a place by your own - and place your Camper directly with a view on the sea. Awesome!! Friendly staff and it is very clean. The pizza oven is also a big plus ;)

Loved this place.. never seen anything like it b4.. just beautiful.. the family that run it are absolutely wonderful people. Just a gorgeous location

Just like I would make my campsite. A fair price for a very lively place. A very nice cafe like place to sit, internet, read a book and charge your devices. Free to use pizza oven (you only have pick some wood from the beach) and keep it on for others to use. Plenty of space! Just perfect!
