I am a physician and have been going to WLI since I turned 40 for screening mammograms and I’ve always had a positive experience with professional and efficient care. I recently had to have more additional testing, including an Ultrasound followed by biopsy. The staff that helped care for me was amazing from the mammogram tech, Diana the ultrasonagrapher, Chris the RN and the radiologists, Dr. Montero and Dr. Arya. This is a time when you naturally feel very vulnerable and scared, and these people helped me through it and are truly dedicated to their work. I’m grateful to have such expert care close to home. Thank you.

The setup of the office itself seems awkward and really doesn't allow patient confidentiality when registering and checking out. However, the entire staff was very accommodating and professional. My technician Heather was amazing. She took the time to explain everything and made me feel at ease. The whole experience was quick and painless.
It's taken me a long time to decide to write this review, but after my experience not only with the staff and technicians at this facility, but also after my encounter with the office management. My encounter included overhearing staff loudly discussing their personal lives, patients' diagnosis and treatments - including the patients' names, and their personal opinions about the patients. I didn't have to \try\ to listen - it was awful. My encounter with the staff was brisk - I was handed a top that I could wrap around myself at least twice (I'm a size 14 missus) but I could not tie it because it was so big - it gaped open. The technician was hurried, rude, short, and more concerned about getting my appointment over with than listening to my concerns about pain - she simply didn't care. Upon leaving the facility, I waited for someone at the front desk to acknowledge me, so I could pay my co-pay and leave - no one was willing to look up - two people were texting, and one was on a personal call. I simply walked out - by then I was humiliated, sore (bruised), and angry. Never again. I spent two days with an ice pack under my left arm as a result. When I shared my experience with management a few days later, I was thanked for my input. Talking with some friends in the area about this place, they also had a bad experience but won't speak up - it's time someone said something. Women deserve better treatment - and the staff and care providers should do better.
Very pleasant experience. I was early for the appt, but I didn't even have to wait. This was a return visit, so I was somewhat uneasy, but they told me the results immediately. (Results good, thankfully.)
RN Chris is just the best ! She is professional , understanding , caring , empathetic ,reassuring and so much more. I walked in so nervous and I felt stupid for being so nervous. Chris helped me through the entire process without judgment. The world is a better place with Kris in it. Compassion matters and really makes a difference.
