Mako Seafood was founded in June 2016 with the vision to make Myanmar seafood better. We decided to start the business after realising that it was not possible for customers to buy pan ready seafood anywhere in Myanmar. Initially launched as an online platform delivering to domestic customers (www.makoseafood.com), Mako has grown to be a major supplier to Myanmar’s largest retail chain, in addition to Yangon’s finest hotels and restaurants. Our mission is to offer a higher quality of local seafood to our customers. We source our products from multiple locations across Myanmar, select only the highest quality, process according to our customers’ needs and deliver within 18-24 hours of receiving an order. We also offer a range of ready to cook meals, where we use the highest quality seafood and other ingredients to offer a complete meal. We believe that we have a responsibility to make Myanmar seafood better. We are committed to improving transparency and sustainability across our operations and collaborate with some of the world’s leading sustainability initiatives to support our objectives.
