The guy running it is odd and rude. He told me hes a school teacher but also the only person who runs the shop 10-5, 5 days a week. no price on anything, he told me hes the only person in the USA to own and breed pearl island boas,not true and ladies beware you wonder why all the reviews that are good are from females go figure and having 20 ball pythons in one enclosure isn't ideal a few of them where severely impacted 0 out of 10 for me and hes a pet peddler buy them and said he hatched them wont be going back neither will my girlfriend

Mike's animals are of very good quality, but most importantly, they are very healthy and given quality care. I purchased two crested geckos, both of whom were of healthy weight and appearance for their age, and he made sure I had all the appropriate materials and information before I left. They have adjusted tremendously well, eat healthily, and all animals in the storefront have an appropriate amount of space for their size. If you are anywhere in the capital district, Mike's your reptile guy.

Me and my boyfriend walked in and he kicked us out because he was dumping water so we were told to come back in 5 minutes. We then came back in 5 minutes to which he told us we actually couldn’t be in the store and was very rude. He accused us of being minors (we’re both 19) and said we couldn’t be in the store because of the alligator you have to be 21 to be in the store yet didn’t tell us that before making us wait. He also tried saying he could sell us animals but not have us in the store.. makes no sense. He was extremely rude and now i’ll go buy my lights and tanks and feeder bugs somewhere else, I will never go back because I don’t want to give him any money. In addition, he also told someone I know who bought a bearded dragon there that heat mats are good for them.. not true. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about and is very rude and bad at business.
