The view and the food couldn't get any better. Even though it was a rainy evening, the ambience of the place was amazing. They have warm heaters on the wall and shawls to keep you warm. Since we are vegetarians, they made a custom mezze platter for us with falafel, hummus and mutabal which tasted really good. Pizza was great too. Totally recommend visiting this place.

Very good pizza, very nice host, good price and nice atmosphere with a sea view and outdoor serving on the dockside. Stop at Øvreviken Pizza in Øystese and grab a bite!
Such an great find! We wanted to have a bite of something somewhere in Øyestese and we stumbled completely unplanned upon Øvreviken. We quickly understood that this was a popular place with both locals and travellers. And it's not only because Øvreviken has the best location around on the pier with sun shining on it through the evening. It's because of the incredibly friendly and passionate staff and the fabulous food they serve! The food was delicious and I especially liked the aioli and tahini home made sauces. And by far the best falafel I have had in Norway! (and I have had many) We definitely want to come back for the food and the experience!
