Matsuya is a Japanese chain beef bowl restaurant, and this location opened outside of Zhishan MRT in the summer of 2020. It was very busy when it first opened but you can reliably get a seat whenever you go in now. To order, you use the ticket machine right inside the door. Each item has an English description as well. After you've selected your food and paid, go ahead and choose a seat and wait for your order number to be called, where they will pick it up from the kitchen serving counter. The food is reliably delicious, and it is changed up seasonally. Prices are reasonable and I love that you can order kimchi on the side if you want to add it to your meal. Don't forget to return your tray to the return spot when you're done! :)

I ate Matsuya several times in Japan, so I was excited about its opening in my neighborhood, especially suffering from COVID-19 crisis which make us go to Japan hard. The environment and service are nice, and the taste is almost the same as in my memory

餐點好吃，2份套餐看到分成這麼多碗，覺得非常不環保，製造太多垃圾，建議貴公司改進，能降低成本，也愛護地球。
5/26 外送 咖哩是很不錯 但是風味蛋就是沒有味道，外觀還有點破爛皺褶的水煮蛋... 不知道下次可不可以請店員直接把咖哩跟飯裝一起，分開兩個碗裝還要處理垃圾有點麻煩。
