Been before and cocktails of high quality. Went tonight and my partner and I sat for 30-40 minutes without being served so left. Staff more focused on picking up than doing their job. Disappointed

Fantastic selection of cocktails, beer and wine. Knowledgeable, experienced and helpful staff will ensure you have a fantastic experience. The table service is quick and reliable and I have to try all the tasting menus next time I visit! Seating across 3 floors, great to bring dates, colleagues, friends and family for a intimate treat. The ambiance is soft and comfortable, room is well lit (rare for Melbourne) and a great environment for catching up with company.
Went for a quiet drink here last night with a friend and was very impressed. Attentive and friendly staff, great decor and tasty cocktails. Keep up the good work!
Great service and yummy cocktails
Nice place for a good whisky or cocktail. Very chilled and staff are very friendly and more than willing to offer suggestions. Happily recommend.
Derived from the year 1806, relevant to the bar scene as it was the year that the word “cocktail” first entered into the dictionary. With prohibition-era decor, including beautiful red curtains and chandeliers, a lovely cocktail is best enjoyed on their velvet chairs, cocktail master class at its best
Just left. I meandered tentatively inside, not sure whether to seat myself or wait for someone. I had heard great things so I was eager to see for myself. Had hardly entered the threshold of the entrance before the hipster behind the bar gruffly yelled out at me to back off to the entrance and wait (for an indeterminate amount of time so that an unknown hostess might eventually greet me) and for me to pointlessly strap a mask across my face. Why would you talk like that to a prospective patron who's just come in to explore your bar? Basic customer service.
Another great experience tonight. Go here if you want to enjoy a drink.... Slowly! A cocktail for every tastebud. Polite and knowledgeable staff. Love the stage setting of the bar where you observe the masters at work! Pro tip: order half way though your current cocktail if you can't wait 20 mins for your next one.
