Our Harpenden Sports Center is closed due to total refurbishment and rebuild and therefore monthly subscriptions have been on hold since March. However without any personal communication or warning from 1 Life a direct debit for 28.50 was taken from my bank account in August for membership to a sports Center that is closed and I have been advised that this was taken on the basis that other centres outside of my area are open to me to use. I joined 1Life Harpenden because it was local to me and have no intention to use other sport centres outside of where I live. 1 Life have refused to refund this August payment which I find absolutely unacceptable and therefore have cancelled my membership to a Center which I have been a member for over 25 years. I would definitely never recommend 1Life, they are probably the worst company I have ever known for communications to their members.

Gym facility at Lord Butler Leisure Centre, Saffron Walden has had no WiFi for almost 6 months despite numerous complaints ...... not really a big 'ask' in the 21st century ! No reply received to emails to head office, does this company value it's customers ? ......

Changed the price on my Direct Debit for Sleaford Leisure Centre without permission or informing me first. Debited unauthorised money from my account in April 2018 after 1Life has lost its contract with NKDC for the Sleaford Leisure Centre. Frankly this company is a bunch of criminals!

I am extremely annoyed!!! The cotslandwick centre in London Colney is only a small gym yet a whole section has been out of use due to the floor being ripped up and nothing has been done with it for nearly 2 months. This caused me to use the gym a maximum of 3 times over this period and I even paid for day passes at other gyms. I emailed head office 3 times with no reply stating that I should be refunded for 2 months as I have not received the service I am paying for. I didn't hear anything back at all. So I cancel my membership and Join another gym. I gave 3 weeks notice and I still got charged for this month. The fact that I should not have had to pay for The past 2 months due to a lack of effort to get the gym fixed is bad enough but to then charge me for another month after I have emailed 3 times with my anger over this and I gave 3 weeks notice is under unacceptable. What I really want to do is go to the bank and claim the past 3 months back but I fear it will come back and bite me. I have not received the service I paid for and I have been charged again after cancellation. Maybe making this public I will now get a response and compensation. If I do not I will claim it back from the bank. Someone reply to me please
