A Place at Home was a nightmare that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy!! Even two of the caregivers they sent us told me that they are losing clients because of how poorly they are treated by the agency. And one of them said that the turnover rate for the office staff is higher than at any place she has ever worked. Our experience with them? Let me tell you - caregivers showing up an hour late, poorly trained caregivers, caregivers refusing to wear a mask and gloves while coughing without covering their mouth (a very dangerous and negligent thing during a serious Covid crisis), caregivers leaving their shifts thirty or more minutes early, caregivers going into our refrigerator to grab food without permission, and an office staff that rarely answers their phones after 5 p.m. or on weekends because they rely on an out-of-town answering service to handle all their calls. That is what we dealt with. So don't buy into the hype that the owner Alex gives about his agency. It is all hot air. And I would not be surprised if some or all of the glowing 5 star reviews on here are not from actual clients. It is pretty easy to create fake reviews. Once Alex signs the client, he passes them off and you never hear from him again. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and run!!

I hired A Place At Home for my sister to provide at-home hospice care. We had an issue with one caregiver and Alex promptly resolved this issue, getting another caregiver that day. Elisa, Renee, Marie and Neenee were great. They were kind, compassionate, patient and took care of my dying sister. I want to thank you for all your help during this difficult situation. I would definitely recommend your service.

A place at home was hired for my grandmother to provide at home house care, from a care giver that is trained, But that wasn’t the case, multiple times my grandmother was left without care and with care from individuals who had no idea what they were doing. This is absolutely the worst care giver company my family has ever obtained and when my family tried to get the issues resolved Alex the owner could care less about the situation having his employees call me back and address concerns when he as the owner and manager should have. He is unprofessional and simply money hungry. If you don’t care about your family getting the proper care then look no further this is it. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE YOUR LOVED ONES CARED FOR BY THIS COMPANY. Worst experience ever. Beware!
