Located close to the opera house. Really nice place with authentic interieur. In the menu mostly German food en certainly beer. Big portions. Must to visit. I've tried here one of the pork knuckles and it was delicious with kölsch.

This seems to be Aachen's standard bearer for traditional brauhaus fare, and it fits the bill just fine. I had the haxe and a couple beers, which were all satisfactory, even if not world-class. It passes muster if you're looking specifically for the traditional German brauhaus-type food and drinks but there are others around Germany that exceed this in quality, service, and/or atmosphere. 3.4 stars, give or take.

Really good traditional brauhaus, tasty food in a warm atmosphere and very friendly service. Perfect for a Winter family meal. Speak English and menu available with English and French translations

A good hearty meal in a very pretty and traditional looking brauhaus setting. Food was good and beer tasty. Service was quite brusque in general but the place was very busy. Everybody in our party was happy. I will definitely visit again when in town.
