The service is not of the highest quality but the blood pudding is excellent. Better to make a reservation or to arrive early. If they forget the bread on your table, do ask for it and it's better to order your coffee after the meal somewhere else.

Brilliant place on a prime location in Aachen. Traditional German food for a good price. Loved the venue! Make reservations as it can be packed at times.
Very friendly and forthcoming service, great traditional food and nice historical atmosphere! Top location in the heart of town. I was told it reopened under new management some weeks back. Definitely worth a visit, thumbs up!
The Worst Experience Ever. My friend came to visit Germany and he has only 2hours，I wanted show him the classic German food. When we ordered we showed the waiter the picture of the food we want，he said yes，we also expained English and French，and the waiter said no problem，then he brought 3 dishes totally not the one on the picture we showed him，and we ordered three different dishes and got exactly the same one. I asked him and he said carelessly that they were what we ordered！ After we left，on the square，the waiter chased us and said he gave 10 euros more to us，we were in hurry so my friends just gave him the money to get rid of him. Just ruined the whole day. Not recommended to anyone.
Really GOOD RESTAURANT! Nice WAITRESSes. NIce 4 floor. Enjoyed my time there.
