I am student at Boerma Instituut, a class that full-fills all the standards for florist, very mature, all students are were friendly and supportive of each other, staff encouraged and facilitated a safe and fun environment, each student has plenty of space to interact and a great lunch everyday.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent at Boerma Instituut. The tutors were outstanding (especially Mike!) and each provided their unique perspective to the design being studied. Having a variety of instructors was beneficial since each had a slightly different way of teaching which ensured all students understood. The class dynamic was incredible-students were friendly and supportive of each other and the staff encouraged and facilitated this positive and fun environment. The facilities were beautiful and welcoming and the design space gave each student plenty of room to interact and work in his or her own style. The lunch and snacks were always delicious- thank you Dunja! The Vegan Fridays were always a treat- thank you Anjelica! My home stay with Annie was phenomenal and we enjoyed many adventures together throughout Aalsmeer and the surrounding environs. The standards for the International Professional Diploma are very high and prepared me well for a career as a floral designer. Overall, the entire package at Boerma is inspiring for anyone who loves flowers. I treasure the friends I made there and experiences I had, and I look forward to returning for continued professional development.
I spent a week studying hand-tied and sympathy designs with the renowned Jacqueline Boerma, Irma Mus and Mark van Eijk and cannot thank them enough for their hospitality, encouragement and inspiration. The coffee shop IS a coffee shop with oodles of character, the food provided was more than substantial and to have wifi, my husband found it more than compensated, whilst I spent time learning my art. Ample parking, wonderful staff - can't wait to return. ;)
Na maanden mocht de clubavond ook weer plaatsvinden. Voor mij een hele lange tijd geleden. Wat had ik er zin in, het was super leuk en de sfeer was als vanouds, ondanks alle maatregelen en regels, die het team van Boerma goed onder controle hebben. Met ons bijzondere thema: anti virus- een bescherming meebrengen, een thema wat iedereen al mnd bezighoud, hebben de clubleden, ieder voor zich laten inspireren, een verbluffend resultaat aan het einde van de avond. Ik zal de foto posten, en kijk maar eens goed naar de arrangementen, ze hebben allen een vorm van anti virus bescherming. Een aanrader deze club, hou je van bloemen en heb je de basiskennis, kom erbij!
